Gearing Up for #ARCAugust 2018: My TBR

This is the first time I’ll participate in #ARCAugust, hosted by Read.Sleep.Repeat but I want to make it a really big thing for me, because I have bunches of ARCs from Book Con that I really want to get to reading, and I feel like I’m going to fall behind on ARCs during the fall.

I might have gotten in over my head with all the ARCs I’ve requested and received, but I do intend to read every single one of these before 2018 ends. Let’s just hope more don’t appear on top of my TBR.

That being said, I’d really like to hit 15 ARCs this month? I know school’s starting for me, so I theoretically should be realistic, but I’d like to make the push to get to reading all of these. And normally I aim to read at least 20 books a month, so I just have to try and read more ARCs vs. other formats.

Sorry backlist books. This month isn’t for you.

Also, if you haven’t heard of any of these titles, I totally recommend checking them out. I wouldn’t have taken/requested them if I didn’t think they sound good, which is why this is doubling as a recommendation post!

If you’re not buried under your TBR, you’re not doing things right.

Below is my bingo board!

18/15 ARCs read this month

(Because #ARCAugust was extended till September 3rd, I had time to squeeze in Sadie, The Leading Edge of Now, and Unclaimed Baggage)

Do you think I can get a decent hunk of these read and reviewed? I don’t know! But check back in on this post throughout August for updates on bingo, what I’ve read, what I’ve reviewed, and everything in between!

much love, vicky

  1. Oh you have such a great TBR waiting for you – I really hope you’ll love most of these books 🙂 I can’t wait to read See All The Stars, it sounds like a wonderful and intriguing story. I’m also really curious about Paula Stokes’ new book, I only read her contemporaries so far, but I loved them and really want to try one of her mystery/thrillers kind of books 🙂 And Impostors oh my, you are so very lucky, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that one. Uglies is one of my favorite series of all times and I am so excited about that one 😀
    Happy reading! 😀

      1. OH YES. I’m so glad you loved GATU so much, I loved it too, such a sweet book and these characters were adorable ❤

I'm so happy you loved Uglies just as much as I do – I feel like no one is mentioning this series and it makes me a bit sad. I loved it back when it was released and I am so eager to get back into that world. Can't wait to hear what you think of that one 😀

Oh you're so, so welcome, it's my pleasure really, your posts are always so great to read! ❤

    1. oooh I hope you enjoy reading! and have you tried requesting on Netgalley? HMH teen almost never approves me, but they did with this one so you might have luck!

      1. I actually requested a physical copy from the publisher 🙂 I don’t usually request them on NetGalley because HMH uses file types that aren’t compatible with my Kindle, sadly :/
