The House Cup Reading Challenge #HouseCupReadingChallenge

I think by now we’ve all established how much of a sucker I am for reading challenges.

Which is why I’ve chosen to dedicate myself to another month of a reading challenge (though this one won’t be nearly as time-consuming as #TheReadingQuest).

Kelsey from Kelsey’s Cluttered Bookshelf, Alex of Book Daisy Reviews, Lauren of Live, Love, Read, and Erica of Escape Under the Cover are hosting the House Cup Reading Challenge from Sunday, October 15th to Sunday, November 12th!

It runs from first year to seventh year at Hogwarts and you can win prizes by completing seven books on your TBR list, as well as participating in bonus challenges and tweeting for more points!

I’m predominantly a Hufflepuff, so I’ll be showing some BADGER PRIDE and supporting my house in this challenge, which means I’ll report to the Hufflepuff Head, Kelsey.

I’m a minor, so I’m not eligible to win prizes because of addresses (but can I still win a Book Depository Gift Card? I’m not going to turn down book money.)

There are 4 Individual House Winners as the person who earns the most points in their house will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card and some HP-themed goodies (stickers, bookmarks, etc.).

There’s 1 House Cup Grand Prize Winner where one randomly selected grand prize winner from the Hogwarts house with the most points overall will receive a Harry Potter Funko Pop figure and a $25 giftcard to Barnes and Noble.

In the case of an international winner, that person will receive an e-gift card to The Book Depository, and apparently winners must be 18 years or older to win because they must provide addresses in order to receive out the prizes.

Twitter Chat 8 pm EST on October 15th to give everybody a chance to introduce themselves, talk about the competition, and answer some Harry Potter trivia questions.

Watch-along of one of the Harry Potter movies (to be decided via Twitter poll) at the end of the challenge.
